Diagnostic Evaluations
A mental health diagnostic evaluation is a comprehensive assessment conducted by a mental health professional to determine an individual’s mental health status. This evaluation involves at least one interview, questionnaires, and assessments that help the professional identify any potential mental health conditions and a treatment plan to help the individual improve their mental health and overall quality of life.
What To Expect
Self-Pay Pricing
Diagnostic evaluations are available as a self-pay only service. Single-session evaluations are $250, while more complex evaluations requiring two clinical sessions are $450. The number of sessions required is determined based on each client’s presenting concerns, symptom complexity, and overall clinical needs. All evaluations are evidenced-based and clinically informed.
Insurance
Diagnostic evaluation services are currently offered as a self-pay only service and are not eligible for insurance billing through Flow Therapy. Clients seeking diagnostic evaluation services will be responsible for the full evaluation cost. A superbill may be provided upon request for clients wishing to seek possible reimbursement through their insurance provider.
Session Duration
Diagnostic evaluation sessions are held virtually through secure video chat and are typically scheduled for 60 minutes in length. Depending on the complexity of concerns, symptom presentation, and overall clinical needs, up to two sessions may be required to complete the evaluation process, in addition to digital self-paced assessments and questionnaires.
Format
