A mental health diagnostic evaluation is a comprehensive assessment conducted by a mental health professional to determine an individual’s mental health status. This evaluation involves at least one interview, questionnaires, and assessments that help the professional identify any potential mental health conditions and a treatment plan to help the individual improve their mental health and overall quality of life.

Diagnostic evaluations may help assess concerns related to attention and focus difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, stress, burnout, mood changes, behavioral concerns, and other emotional or psychological symptoms impacting daily functioning, relationships, school, or work performance.
